South Florida has proven to be a very desirable location, and our host hotel, the Boca Raton Resort & Club is sold out during the NIOP Annual Convention dates of March 9-13. However, NIOP has contracted with the Embassy Suites Deerfield Beach Resort & Spa as our overflow hotel. The NIOP room rate at the Embassy Suites is $249 per night (plus tax), single or double occupancy. To make a reservation please call 1-954-426-0478 by February 22 and identify yourself as a NIOP member to receive this group rate. The Embassy Suites is an all-suites hotel, located just three miles from the Boca Raton Resort & Club. Every suite has a balcony with water views, and is located just steps away from the beach.
If you would like to stay at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, please call the reservation line at (888) 491-2622, and identify yourself as a member of National Institute of Oilseed Products and you will be added to the waiting list. Should hotel rooms become available after February 15 and they will be offered to attendees on the waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis.
A deposit of one night’s stay is required to hold reservations at both hotels. The deposit is refundable if reservation is cancelled at least 72 hours prior to arrival date. You will be asked to confirm your departure date at the time of check-in, and in the event of an early departure without prior notice, a $50 fee (plus tax) will be applied to your final bill.
Check-in time at both hotels is after 3:00 p.m. and checkout time is before 12:00 noon. Please remember you are responsible for both reserving and canceling your own hotel reservations.

Embassy Suites Deerfield Beach Resort & Spa Single/Double Occupancy: $249.00 per night
All rates quoted are exclusive of applicable taxes. Current guest room tax is 11.5%.
NIOP, on behalf of its members, has reserved a block of rooms at Boca Raton Resort & Club and Embassy Suites Deerfield Beach Resort & Spa at discounted group rates. The group rates are applicable over NIOP’s Convention dates of March 9-13, as well as 3 days pre/post on a space-available basis.
Attendees are encouraged to make their room reservations as early as possible. Room reservations at the group rate are available on a first-come, first-served basis to our attendees, while the block lasts.

Getting There
Both hotels are located about 25 miles from Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL), 30 miles from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), and 45 miles from Miami International Airport (MIA).
Directions to the Boca Raton Resort & Club
From Fort Lauderdale Airport:
Exit the airport, and take I-595 West to I-95 North. Take I-95 North approximately 16 miles to Hillsboro Boulevard East (Exit 42A). Turn right onto Hillsboro Boulevard, and drive approximately 1½ miles to Federal Highway (U.S. 1). Turn left onto Federal Highway (U.S. 1), and drive approximately 1¾ miles to Camino Real. Turn right onto Camino Real. The resort entrance is ¼ mile ahead on the left-hand side.
From Palm Beach International Airport:
Begin east on direct ramp from airport's exit to I–95 South, toward Miami. Take the Palmetto Park Road exit. Take a left onto Palmetto Park Road and continue east until Federal Highway. Turn right onto Federal Highway / US 1 South. Go to E. Camino Real, make a left. Pass through one roundabout. End at 501 E. Camino Real.
From Miami International Airport:
Take the Airport Expressway (112) east approximately 4½ miles to I–95 North. Take I–95 North approximately 37 miles to Hillsboro Boulevard East (Exit 42A). Turn right onto Hillsboro Boulevard, and drive approximately 1¾ miles to Federal Highway. Make a left onto Federal Highway then drive approximately 1 ½ miles to Camino Real. Turn right onto Camino Real. The resort entrance is ¼ mile ahead on the left–hand side.

From Fort Lauderdale International Airport:
Take I-95 North to Hillsboro Blvd - East to Ocean Drive (A-1A). Turn right. Resort is approximately a half-mile on the left, approximately 18 miles from the Airport.
From Palm Beach Airport:
Take I-95 South to Hillsboro Blvd - East to Ocean Drive (A-1A). Turn right. Resort is a half-mile on the left, 23 miles from the Airport.
From Miami International Airport:
Take I-95 South to Hillsboro Blvd - East to Ocean Drive (A-1A). Turn right. Resort is a half-mile on the left, 45 miles from the Airport.

Weather and Appropriate Attire
The average daytime temperature for Boca Raton in March is typically a high of 80°F (27ºC). Nights may dip as low as 60°F (16ºC) so bring a light jacket or sweater for evenings. Business casual attire, such as a collared shirt & slacks for men is considered appropriate for all business meetings. For the golf course, remember no denim is allowed, and shirts must have collars and sleeves.
